Kava, Drink of the Gods

Kava, Drink of the Gods

Kava, Drink of the Gods

Oh Kava, drink of the gods,
Brewed from the roots of the Piper methysticum plant.
Thy soothing, earthy aroma doth fill the air,
Inviting all to gather ’round and take a share.

In times of stress and toil,
Thou art a balm to ease the mind.
Thy gentle, calming effects do make
All worries and cares unwind.

But beware, dear Kava, for thou art not a drink to be trifled with.
Thy powers, while gentle, are not to be underestimated.
Drink too much and thou mayst find
Thyself in a dreamlike state, entwined.

So raise a bowl, dear friends, and let us drink to Kava’s health.
May she bring us peace, relaxation, and a sense of well-being.
For she is truly a gift from the gods,
A drink to be savored and treasured by all.
